2008 Floodplain Open
Thank you to all the participants of the 2008 Floodplain Open. In the first year we have successfully become the biggest tournament ever held in the Fargo/Moorhead Area. The registration limit was 108 participants, and the actual turnout of participants was 108 people. Not bad at all.
I personally want to thank all of the sponsors and volunteers. Without them the tourney would have been a gigantic failure. Instead, it ended up being a raging success, despite the rain on Saturday and the wind on Sunday.
Please check out the Tournament Sponsors page if you have a chance and make sure you say, "Thank you," to a volunteer next time you are at a tournament.
Knowing that many enjoyed the tournament, the 2nd Annual Floodplain Open will definitely be penciled into the 2009 schedule. Location may change, but a fun and challenging experience will not. Hopefully I will see you there.
